Hello BEAUTIFUL People!!

My name is Danielle, or Dani , the little humans in my life call me DeDe and as of 2022 I am officially a proud DeMa ( because I refuse to be called grandma lol) , I am the creator/owner/operator of Natur'Radical. This super handsome man next to me is my love, my best friend, my ride or die, my wordsmith, and soul journey life partner.

I wanted to take some time to share with everyone a little part of myself and a little bit about my journey up to this point. Get some snacks and get comfy this may take a minute lol.

I am a spirit who has been sharing this human experience for almost 38 years now (in linear time of course). Born and raised in Spokane Washington and still residing here (for now). I have been with my life partner/ best friend/twin flame/ all the other things I said above for almost 14 years now, but we have a long history together way before that. We were actually boyfriend and girlfriend in 6th grade ( how cute right💞). We were friends all through our younger years and connected again in 2009. It was basically love at 27th sight (lol since we had seen each other for so many years before haha) We fell head over heels for one another and now we have 5 awesome children ( and I don't just say that because they're our children haha they are seriously some rad kids!!) .

Our oldest son is 19, we have twin boys that are 18, a 17 year old daughter and our youngest daughter is12 year old. I also help care for my great niece and all of our nieces and nephews love to be here so that's technically 27 kids (WHOA I know right 😂). There is never a dull moment around here.

We have always been a creative household as before I did anything I used to love to paint. Crazy, colorful, and abstract was my style of choice. I decided after some time I wanted proper training so I could work in the field of art, so I went to art school and graduated 2015 with an AFA degree. I was so pleased to see that not only our kids but the neighborhood kids were inspired by my passion and all took a little piece and started creating their own. We used to love to have painting days where all the kids from the family and the neighborhood would be there and everyone would make their own work of art. Making a mess was one of our favorite past times. Throwing paint, using random materials like foam, mica, scrap plastic and metal pieces from construction sites, ( I used to be a carpenter lol we'll save that for another day) and any other cool texture we could find at a canvas just to see what it would look like. We try not to take life too seriously around here so most times there is a whole lot of malarkey going on in these walls. Though all the kids were much younger when we used to do these things there is still a ton of tomfoolery happening here and we hope to update you in the future. 😉

Like most people I have not always been the person I am today. There was a lot of hard work I had to put in to become the awesome person I am today lol humbly speaking (Haha just kidding) 🤣. I used to be the kid that was skipping school to hang out with friends and not making very good choices. Even through my young adult year I chose to take the most risky and not so smart route. Through a ton of hard knocks and some serious life lessons, I started to grow up and listen to all the signs the universe was throwing at me.

Around 2012 is when I had what they call an "awakening" ( imagine that right 😉) . One day a door just opened for me and I was flooded with an abundance of information, new ideas, new ways of thinking and most of all a new way of life. I began to study the chakras, meditation, crystals, energy, magic and anything else I could wrap my brain around. I am still a student trying to learn all I can. I will always be a student, there is so much information out there and I am the kind of person who wants to know ALL THE THINGS!!! With that I have decided that my life is dedicated to creating, learning and helping others.

I got the chance of a lifetime to work at my favorite local crystal shop and BOOOOMMM!!!!! I just latched on to crystal healing and boooyyy did my life change quickly and drastically. I wanted love them, hold them, wear them, heck I would even eat them if I could 🤣.

Anyways that is what inspired me to start jewelry making. I wanted to take the crystals I already had and be able to wear them. One day a dear friend of my showed me a medium I could do that with. I love the raw or the more abstract look of things so I wanted to put fun and funky shaped crystal together to make beautiful jewelry. I began by sculpting around the gemstone with polymer clay, making intricate artistic creations like pendants, wands, pendulums etc. Then I had made so many pieces the same dear friend said we should try out hand at selling them. ( she had done it for years before and wanted to show me the way) We started doing in person shows and events with our jewelry in 2016, and then I knew this was the life path I had been searching for all along.

2017 is when I dove head first into working with herbs. I had a friend who made an amazing arnica salve that she gifted me. I loved it so much I shared it with my mom and dad who like most people have some form of pain they deal with on a day to day. The loved it! It actually helped ease their pain so much they asked for more. Sadly she stopped making it, but that was the beginning of my herbal journey.

So... I did a ton of research bought the things I needed and made my own. After that was a success I was so inspired that I wanted to make all the products I could to help people with their everyday ailments. I did tons of research, bought every book, herb, jar, and every other material needed to create and I went crazy with creating salves, teas, natural essential oil blends and more for everything I could think of. Pain, headache, dry skin, eczema, psoriasis, anxiety, stress, insomnia, energy etc. I started to receive such great feedback from my family and friends I decided it was time to share it with the world. I figured I needed to call my brand by some nifty name so I went to my wordsmith (my babe) for some help. Any time I need crafty words he is my guy. I create with my hands, and he is brilliant with words lol. Sooo... he said " well you work with nature, and its rad...AND BOOOOM Natur'Radical was born!!

Creating herbal remedies and sculpted gemstone jewelry took me into a whole new world of artistic expansion. Attending these events, sharing my creations with the world and meeting phenomenal people really put me in my element. I came across so many new ways of creating and one that sparked my interest the most of a technique called electroforming. It is a process in which you can basically turn anything from the natural world into copper.

(people also do it with silver and gold). Anyway I was so intrigued by what these people created I did some research and discovered it was basically like a chemistry experiment.

(mind you I failed science and chemistry in school lol) So to say the least I was extremely intimidated by this process. I really wanted to try my hand at it but knowing that you had to take fluid and mix it with electricity was terrifying for me at the time, so I put the information in the back of my mind in my "one day" folder and moved on with business as usual.

Fast forward to 2020 covid hit and like everyone else I was stuck at home. Luckily for me I had a creative outlet ( and kids to clean up after lol ) so the time didn't bother me, it was actually a huge blessing for me. One day I was either creating or cleaning and BOOM it hit me! HOLY SHIT I have the time and resources to figure this whole chemistry experiment out!! LET'S FREAKIN DO IT!!!!! (I said in my head, or maybe it was a loud outburst lol I can't remember) either way lol I went back to reaching, found all the materials I needed, researched some more, bought what I needed with the quickness, researched even more and sat by and waited until they all arrived.

I was nervous as hell when I got all the pieces I needed because that made it real, and there wasn't a ton of information or videos available at the time so I kind of had to wing it. Now I really have to try not to blow myself and my kids up using these materials. ( I know now that's impossible lol, well at least damn near impossible to do lol ). So I sat diligently and timidly going throw my research and putting the pieces together and figuring the process out. I will say luckily for me I caught on really fast and my pieces were coming out famously. ( I had a thought maybe I should retry my hand at the whole science and chemistry thing again lol ) l started turning leaves, flowers, bones, bugs, sticks, vines and any other natural material that I found beautiful, added stones and turned them into unique jewelry.

While on this journey I have come to realize that I am a conduit for people to get the energetic healing they need. I know that each and every piece I make is for someone very specific. Now I don't know who they are for when I'm creating them, I just let the stones and pieces speak to me and tell me how they want to be put together. When someone is drawn to " their" piece I will begin to tell them what the stones can help with, and damn near every time they will say something to the effect of " that is exactly what I needed right now, I feel this was made for me!!!" And I know every time is!! Though on occasion I make some piece that look a bit similar, each piece is a one of one! No two stones are the same, therefore there are no duplications.

So there you have it, a little bit about my life, my story, and my creation journey up until this point. Of course there is waaaay more and I hope to share it with you in the future. I will be documenting my journey on social media, twitch is where you can watch my creative process, and I will do some blogging now and again. (as much as I can of course don't forget about the whole 27 kids thing haha). Mostly I want to give you all a peek into my world so you guys know I am a REAL human who just loves to create and also makes real life mistakes. Like grammar and punctuation mostly lol among other things of course haha.

Creating, helping people, & crystal healing is my passion!!! My goal is to combine them all to help as many people as I can, to live their very best life.
